General Terms

These terms describe the general conditions for domains, hosting, email, VPS and related services supplied by CloudYork. A confirmed order may contain additional service-specific conditions.

1. Orders and service activation

An enquiry is not an order. A service agreement begins when CloudYork confirms the order, scope, region and applicable charges in writing.

The customer must provide accurate contact and billing information and ensure that the requested service may lawfully be used.

2. Acceptable use

Services must not be used for unlawful activity, abuse, unsolicited messaging, malware, attacks, rights infringement or activity that threatens other customers or the platform.

CloudYork may restrict or suspend harmful activity when reasonably necessary to protect customers, infrastructure or comply with law.

3. Customer responsibilities

The customer is responsible for account credentials, application updates, content, licenses and configuration unless a confirmed managed-service scope states otherwise.

Included backups are an operational safeguard, not the customer’s only copy. Customers should retain independent copies of business-critical data.

4. Availability, maintenance and changes

CloudYork works to provide reliable services but does not promise uninterrupted availability unless a separate written service level applies.

Maintenance, security work, provider incidents and events outside reasonable control may affect availability. Material planned changes will be communicated when practicable.

5. Charges, renewal and termination

Charges, billing periods and renewal terms are those stated in the confirmed order. Domain registration and third-party fees may be non-refundable once processed.

Either party may end services according to the confirmed order. Data may be deleted after termination, so exports must be completed beforehand.

6. Liability and general provisions

To the extent permitted by applicable law, CloudYork is not liable for indirect loss, lost profit or loss caused by customer configuration, third-party systems or unlawful use.

Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected. The governing law and venue stated in the confirmed order apply; otherwise applicable mandatory law determines them.
